Collection: Jaguar

During meditation one day, I envisioned a jaguar. It approached me, crouched down, and stared intensely into my eyes. Enveloped in flames, its radiance contrasted the night surrounding it.

I flinched and turned away, but the jaguar moved with incredible speed and appeared in front of me again, its eyes locked on mine. I felt as though it was peering into my very soul.

In Mesoamerican cultures, jaguars are considered spirit companions or naguals that protect religious figures from evil. Their comfort in water and trees, as well as their ability to hunt both day and night, allows them to travel between worlds.
